Welcome to Pilkarra. We are an Australian based small business based in Buninyong Victoria. With over 30 years working in the conservation industry, environmental tourism and planned burning we found that we were unable to find a small live catch trap that met our needs. After searching the world (literally) and not having any luck, we decided to make our own. With considerable work and persistence we found a manufacturing plant in China that could produce a quality trap that met our needs and standards. Over the years with valuable feedback from our customers we believe our Type1 trap is now close to perfect.

We are dedicated to the welfare and safety of all animals and their habitats. Our traps are carefully designed and made to ensure they do not pose a risk to the welfare of trapped animals. Now with our new partnership with Cirta we are now offering aerial surveying which opens up a new option for our clients to monitor wildlife and habitat with minimal interaction or disturbance.
